There are an estimated 550 Gigatons of carbon biomass on Earth (Yinon M. Bar-On et al., 2018 PNAS).
If we combine the total biomass all of living cells, we obtain a mass - or volume - that is much smaller than the mass of the Earth.
However, if we compute the total surface of all cellular life combined, we obtain an area that is much larger that the surface of the Earth.
Given that all cells are surrounded by a membrane, with all the bio-membrane available we could wrap our planet a million times over!
